Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
We are known in the Sarasota area as the premier counseling center for a comprehensive DBT program. Our entire team is trained or in the process of being trained and certified by BehavioralTech, which was created by Dr. Marsha Linehan, the founder of DBT. We adhere to DBT philosophies and work collaboratively as a team to provide an all-inclusive program which includes individual therapy, weekly skills training, phone coaching, consultation team meetings, and family support.

Trauma-Informed Care
It is possible to heal from traumatic experiences and we provide integrative modalities to resolve trauma in ways that are the least painful for our clients, leaving you restored and empowered. All of our counselors provide trauma-informed care that nurtures healing from PTSD and C-PTSD, unresolved anger, grief, shame, and more. Some counselors provide Brainspotting, while others provide hypnotherapy through Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). All of our counselors are trained in Emotional Pain Intervention (EPI) and Master Trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which utilizes eye movements like in EMDR. We also provide embodied practices that facilitate experiential healing, such as mindfulness-informed psychotherapy, drama therapy, play therapy, sand tray therapy, Compassionate Inquiry, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and trauma-sensitive yoga.
